Author Guidelines

  1. Articles have not been published or accepted for publication, or are being considered for publication elsewhere. In addition to the manuscript, a written statement should be attached which clarifies that the article is original and does not contain any elements of plagiarism.
  2. Articles are written in the format of OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect. For more convinience, please download file template;
  3. Articles are written in Indonesia using EBI, or in English, or Arabic using academic language along with standard academic writing structure and composition. Manuscripts are typed on single space of A4 paper sized using margin 1 inchi for top, bottom, right and left. Length of words are between 6000-9000 words including references, pictures, and tables, using font Times New Roman 12. Arabic manuscript uses font Traditional Arabic 16.
  4. Articles should be in form of essay which includes:
    • title (max. 20 words),
    • author’s name (without any academic degree) with an e-mail address and institution’s name,
    • abstract (150-200 words) which includes research problems, methods, and results. abstract is written in English for articles using Bahasa Indonesia, and is written in Bahasa for those using English or Arabic
    • keywords (3-5 words)
    • background, theoritical base and the main problem of the research
    • research method
    • the research result
    • Discussion
    • the conclusion and recommendation
    • list of references and appendix
  5. Referrals and quotations using Turabian style citation, as following examples

Madd (long sound) is written with horizontal strip on the alphabet: ā, ī, dan ū (ا، ي، و). The Arabic dipthong is written with double alphabet “ay” and “aw”, e.g. bayyinah, dawwāmah. And word ending with tā’ marbūthah is written with “ah”. For Examplebi ism Allāh al-Rahmān al-Rahīm for the transliteration of [بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم]
