About the Journal

LUX ISLAMICA: Journal of Islamic Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Al-Qolam Malang (UQM). The journal publishes scholarly research in the field of Islamic Studies and is issued four times a year, Januari, April, July, October.

LUX ISLAMICA: Journal of Islamic Studies welcomes high-quality research articles from academics, researchers, educators, teachers, trainers, and practitioners on a wide range of topics in Islamic Studies, including but not limited to: Qur’anic Exegesis and Hadith Studies, Islamic Law (Fiqh and Ushul al-Fiqh), Islamic Philosophy and Theology, Sufism and Islamic Spirituality, Islamic Educational Management, Islam and Politics, Islam and Governance, Islamic Economics and Finance, Islam and Gender Issues, Arabic Language Education, as well as Islam in local and global contexts.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, relevance, scholarly significance, and contribution to the advancement of Islamic studies.
