Funding and Support Service

LUX ISLAMICA: Journal of Islamic Studies  is committed to maintaining high-quality academic publication standards through a sustainable funding model. Our operations and publication services are supported by:

1. Institutional Support

The journal receives primary support and funding from Universitas Al-Qolam Malang (UQM), particularly through the LP2I and the Postgraduate Program. This support ensures the long-term stability and hosting of the journal’s digital infrastructure.

2. Author Contributions (APC)

To support the extensive editorial process, peer-review management, and full open-access availability, the journal also relies on Article Processing Charges (APC) contributed by the authors. These funds are used solely to cover the costs of publishing services, including:

• Editorial management and online tools.

• Typesetting and formatting.

• Archiving and indexing services.

• Administrative and customer support.

3. Independence and Integrity

While LUX ISLAMICA receives funding from the aforementioned sources, the editorial decision-making process remains strictly independent. Financial contributions or institutional affiliations do not influence the acceptance or rejection of any manuscript.
