About the Journal
JIWO: Journal of Islamic Worldview is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that provides a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to disseminate high-quality research and engage in sustained scholarly discussions on issues related to the Islamic worldview. The journal focuses on the Islamization of modern science and the application of a tawhid-based framework across academic disciplines. It aims to advance scholarly inquiry that integrates revealed knowledge with empirical reality and promotes the development of knowledge grounded in Islamic epistemological, ethical, and spiritual principles.
JIWO: Journal of Islamic Worldview welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, and in-depth literature reviews that examine contemporary academic issues from an Islamic worldview perspective. The journal publishes a broad range of interdisciplinary studies, including, but not limited to, Islamic Philosophy and Theology; Islamic Education; the Integration and Islamization of Knowledge; Islamic Economics, Sociology, and Law; Politics and Islamic State Thought; Art, Culture, and Islamic Civilization; and Contemporary Issues and Islamic Ethics. The journal particularly welcomes studies addressing Islamic epistemology in the digital age; the integration of naqliyah and aqliyah knowledge; Islamic educational philosophy and curriculum; Maqasid al-Shari'ah; Islamic leadership and governance; Islamic perspectives on science and technology; Islamic bioethics; environmental issues; artificial intelligence (AI); transhumanism; and other emerging contemporary challenges.

JIWO: Journal of Islamic Worldview is a premier multidisciplinary platform dedicated to exploring and disseminating research grounded in the ontological and epistemological frameworks of Islam. The journal focuses on integrating knowledge and applying the Tawhid paradigm to address contemporary global challenges, encompassing Islamic philosophy, theology, and the ethical implications of modern science and technology. Its scope encompasses fields such as Islamic economics, social sciences, and education, as well as critical analysis of the interaction between Islamic values and Western thought. By prioritizing original studies that synthesize divine revelation with empirical reality, JIWO aims to foster a holistic understanding of the Islamic view of the universe, humanity, and society, providing transformative insights into bioethics, public policy, and the future of Islamic civilization in an increasingly complex world.
