About the Journal
Risalah Dirasah: Journal of Multidisciplinary Islamic Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Graduate School of Universitas Al-Qolam Malang. The journal is published four times a year in March, June, September, and December. It publishes high-quality research and scholarly works in the field of Islamic studies from interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspectives. The journal aims to promote critical academic discussions on the development of Islamic knowledge and its application in Islamic education, Islamic education management, Islamic law, Islamic economics, turats studies, Arabic language education, and Islamic religious education in relation to contemporary social, cultural, intellectual, and global developments.
Risalah Dirasah: Journal of Multidisciplinary Islamic Studies welcomes high-quality research articles from academics, researchers, educators, and practitioners on a broad range of topics in Islamic Studies from interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspectives. The journal encourages scholarly works that examine the interaction between Islamic teachings, intellectual traditions, and contemporary social developments through the lens of relevant disciplines. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: Islamic Education Management and Leadership, Islamic Education Policy and Innovation, Ushul Fiqh and Contemporary Islamic Law, Islamic Legal Thought and Fatwa Studies, Islamic Economics and Finance, Islamic Philanthropy and Social Welfare (Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf), Islamic Intellectual Heritage (Turats) and Manuscript Studies, Classical Islamic Texts and Philology, Arabic Language Education and Linguistics, Curriculum and Methodology of Arabic Language Teaching, Islamic Religious Education and Curriculum Development, Islamic Educational Psychology and Character Education, as well as contemporary issues of Islam in local, national, and global contexts.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, relevance, scholarly significance, and contribution to the advancement of Islamic studies.
