Risalah Dirasah: Journal of Multidisciplinary Islamic Studies

Risalah Dirasah: Journal of Multidisciplinary Islamic Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Graduate School of Universitas Al-Qolam Malang. The journal is published four times a year in March, June, September, and December. It publishes high-quality research and scholarly works in the field of Islamic studies from interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspectives. Risalah represents the mission of conveying educational messages and prophetic values, while Dirasah reflects critical, systematic, and in-depth studies rooted in the academic tradition of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and upholding the values of the Qur'an and Hadith. This journal is dedicated to advancing scientific discourse and research in Islamic studies as a platform that bridges classical Islamic scholarship (turats) with contemporary studies in Islamic education, governance, and the transformation of modern Islamic education.

Risalah Dirasah: Journal of Multidisciplinary Islamic Studies welcomes high-quality research articles from academics, researchers, educators, and practitioners on various topics in Islamic Studies from interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspectives. The journal encourages scholarly works that examine the interaction between Islamic teachings, intellectual traditions, and contemporary social developments through the lenses of relevant disciplines. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: governance and institutional management of pesantren and madrasah, innovation in Islamic education curricula, quality of Islamic education in both formal and non-formal settings, transformation of modern Islamic education systems, Philosophy of Islamic Education and Thought of Muslim Scholars, Thematic Qur'anic and Hadith Studies, Studies of Turats and Classical Islamic Texts (Kitab Kuning), as well as Manuscripts and Pesantren Scholarly Writings.
