Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Maqashid: Jurnal Hukum Islam must follow the focus, scope, and author guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. Authors are encouraged to use plagiarism detection software to check for similarity. Editors will check the plagiarism of articles using Plagiarism Checker software.

The research articles submitted to this journal will undergo review by at least one expert reviewer or more. The articles will be sent to the reviewers and returned to the authors for revision. Reviewers provide valuable scientific feedback to improve the manuscript's content. All manuscripts are subject to review, and authors can expect a decision or an explanation for any delay within two months of receipt. If revisions are requested, the corresponding author should submit the revised manuscript within two weeks. The Principal Editors make the final decision based on the review process.

As outlined in our publication ethics, we ensure that the reviewed manuscript is treated confidentially before publication.

The final decision regarding article acceptance will be made by the Editors based on the reviewers' comments. The publication of accepted articles, including the order in which they are published, will be managed by the Editor-in-Chief, considering the acceptance date, geographical distribution of authors, and the thematic issue.
