Open Access Statement

Maqashid: Jurnal Hukum Islam is an open access journal. All published articles are freely and immediately available online to everyone, without charge and without any registration or login. The journal supports the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The journal does not charge readers or institutions for access to any content, including back issues. Any fees charged to authors are described on the journal's Article Processing Charges page and are not related to reading or downloading articles.

Rights of Readers and Users

Under the license below, users may, without asking permission from the publisher or the authors:

read, download, print, and search the full text of any article;
copy and redistribute the articles in any medium or format;
link to the full text of articles and use them for teaching, study, and non-commercial research; and
adapt, translate, or build upon the material for non-commercial purposes.

In every case, the original work must be cited properly (authors, article title, journal title, year, and DOI), a link to the license must be provided, and any changes must be indicated. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

Authors retain copyright to their articles and grant the journal the right of first publication under this license. The license is indicated on the journal website and on each published article. Further details are set out in the journal's Copyright Notice.

Permanent Access and Identification

Every article is assigned a DOI through Crossref, so that it can be cited and located permanently.
All issues remain available in the journal archive. Published articles are not removed from open access. Corrections and retractions follow the procedures in Publication Ethics.
Article metadata is exposed through OAI-PMH so that it can be harvested by indexing services and academic search engines. The journal is indexed in SINTA, Garuda, Dimensions, Google Scholar, and Moraref.

Author Self-Archiving

Authors may deposit the published version of their article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networking sites, provided that:

the article is credited to Maqashid: Jurnal Hukum Islam, with its DOI and a link to the published version; and
the CC BY-NC 4.0 license terms are respected.
