Maqashid: Jurnal Hukum Islam is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by Ahwal Al-Syakhsiyyah (Islamic Family Law) Department, Sharia Faculty, Universitas Al-Qolam, Malang, Indonesia.

Aims and Objectives

Maqashid: Jurnal Hukum Islam aims to:

• publish original research on the theory and practice of Islamic family law and Islamic law;
• examine how the objectives of Islamic law (maqashid al-shariah) inform contemporary legal, social, and family issues; and
• provide a scholarly forum for academics, practitioners, and policymakers in the field.

Focus

Maqashid: Jurnal Hukum Islam focuses on the study of Islamic family law and Islamic law in Islamic countries in general and in Indonesia in particular, with an emphasis on theories of Islamic family law and its practice in the developing Islamic world, presented through the publication of articles.

Scope
