Allegations of Research Misconduct
English Language Teaching Journal (ELTJ) takes allegations of research misconduct seriously. Research misconduct includes plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of data, duplicate publication, and other practices that violate research and publication ethics.
All allegations are assessed by the editorial team fairly and confidentially. When necessary, the journal may request explanations or supporting evidence from the authors and consult reviewers, institutions, or other relevant parties.
If misconduct is confirmed, ELTJ may take appropriate action, including rejecting the manuscript, retracting a published article, issuing a correction or editorial notice, and notifying the relevant institution when warranted.
All cases are handled in accordance with the principles of publication ethics and the seriousness of the allegation.
