Review Process Policy

English Language Teaching Journal (ELTJ) applies a peer-review process to evaluate the quality, originality, relevance, and academic contribution of submitted manuscripts.

Each manuscript is initially screened by the editorial team to assess its suitability for the journal's focus and scope and compliance with submission requirements. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to qualified reviewers with relevant expertise.

Reviewers assess the manuscript's originality, methodology, clarity, significance, and contribution to the field. Based on the reviewers' comments and the editor's assessment, the editorial decision may be acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection.

Authors are expected to address reviewers' comments carefully when revisions are requested. The final publication decision rests with the editor. Editors and reviewers must maintain confidentiality, declare conflicts of interest, and evaluate manuscripts fairly and objectively.
